Westmount is yet another example of a well-planned Oakville community. Still in it’s infancy (development only began in the mid-2000’s!) the potential for homebuyers is undeniable. Although parts of it are still visible under construction, this up-and-coming area is sure to be as popular as the rest of Oakville—making it a great homebuyer investment!
The majority of homes found here are detached homes, on decently sized lots—although not quite as large as some of the older Oakville suburbs. There are also semi-detached and townhome options. These are all relatively new builds, so you’ll notice that this well-planned neighbourhood is clean and pristine.
This is a great location for a family, so you’ll see plenty of SUVs filled with kids rolling around to one of the area’s many sporting fields. The brand new Oakville Hospital also attracts many working professionals, and many expect that as other healthcare facilities and supply companies begin to populate, more and more people will move to Westmount for proximity to work.
We can’t say it enough – Green Space! This area is quite close to Bronte Park, a stunning outdoor getaway. This is a community in its infancy, and there are definite plus points to that. Naturally, there is the obvious value one can get when buying a home. But there is also something inherently peaceful about a fresh, new neighbourhood that attracts people for the same reasons. This could just be the ideal place to lay down some new roots.
