There’s an undeniable grace to the older areas of Oakville. Central Oakville is a small yet trendy pocket that flawlessly combines an older village feel with the modern.
There’s a lovely mix of small, older homes, and contemporary condos and townhouses that continue to be built along the harbour district. One of Oakville’s hottest condos, One Eleven Forsythe, is right on the banks of Sixteen Mile Creek, overlooking the downtown core and Lake Ontario. Take a look if you haven’t seen it, the views are amazing!
There’s a good mix of families, professional couples, and empty-nesters. The common thread among everyone is a love of the outdoors and a quiet and respectful lifestyle.
Residents are walking distance from downtown Old Oakville, walking distance to the lake, and walking distance to amenities such as shops, restaurants, etc. There’s a pedestrian feel that we often miss in the suburbs. The neighbouring Kerr Street Village is slated for a redevelopment, adding further to the places you can explore.
