About Queen West

West Queen West’s status was solidified when Vogue Magazine voted it the second coolest neighbourhood in the world. Toronto has long known that West Queen West is one of the hippest spots in the city, and its streets are chocker full of unique bars, restaurants, shops and galleries.

Historically a working class hub that resided outside city limits, the area began to pick up steam as artists moved into warehouses during the 80’s and 90’s. Fast-forward to today and there remains a distinctly artistic feel that still runs underneath Queen West’s highly gentrified surface.
