We reached out to Tanya in the middle of August to buy and sell a home. Her advice was to de-clutter to get the home ready. She connected us to a website to look at homes and to communicate, via website chat, which homes we liked. She also advised that she normally wouldn’t recommend buying before selling, but she had a good feeling about selling our home.
We ended up buying in mid-september after looking at houses in person with Steve (who is great and gave a lot of insight about housing structure and visions for renovations). The buying process went smooth and Tanya was able to negotiate for under asking! In the neighbourhood we wanted! And, the location we wanted! Tanya really looked out for our best interest by making sure the house was okay by putting in conditions in the sale.
The next step was to sell our home. When all the de-cluttering and cosmetic work was done (her recommended painting team did a great job and was quick!), Tanya sent over a stager. I couldn’t believe how amazing the place looked! The stager (Stage2Sell) did amazing! A few days later she sent over a photographer, who was fantastic. The video that she did made our home to sell feel special. Most videos for real estate is just music, but Tanya gave just the right amount of voice and presence.
We listed on October 1st around 2pm. We sold October 2nd around 1:30pm. We also sold over asking!!
