March Break is coming up fast. Are you prepared? We’ve curated a list of some of our favourite March Break activities across Toronto. Here are a few worth checking out:

Toronto March Break Activities

Bug Lab – If your kids are obsessed with insects, this is the perfect opportunity to pique their interest while letting them explore and learn! Bug Lab is a traveling exhibition from New Zealand’s national museum, Te Papa. The exhibit is an interactive way to learn about the “brilliance of bugs.” 

Ripley’s Aquarium – This venue is a must-see if you’re looking to explore the magic of the ocean! Either head downtown for a day trip or take a staycation at one of the city’s finest hotels and head over to the aquarium for some wondrous learning and fun! 

Casa Loma Escape Series – If you have an older child, this is a great way to flex their creative thinking during March Break! The Dragon’s Song is an exciting opportunity to stretch the imagination and embark on a quest to save dragons from extinction!

Mississauga March Break Activities 

Bridges Festival – Enjoy this three-day puppetry festival at the start of March Break! Designed to promote puppetry from around the world and celebrate it as one of the oldest art forms. Check out the shows, workshops, and panels to learn more about this fascinating craft!

Skate on the Square – Spring is right around the corner and time is running out to enjoy skating at Celebration Square! This is a free activity that’s fun for the whole family. Get your last laps in at the skating rink before it closes for the season on March 20! 

Oakville and Burlington March Break Activities

Aerosports – This massive indoor jungle gym is the perfect place to let loose during March Break! Let the kids run free to jump, climb, and explore throughout the park. Aerosports has even added two new features including a Ninja Warrior Zone and a Climb and Slide Kid Zone! 

City of Oakville Drop-In Programs – If you attended any of the fabulous drop-in programs for Family Day, you’re already aware of how great the City of Oakville is for community events! Check out the community calendar to find the latest Oakville March Break events near you. 

Royal Botanical Gardens Under the Canopy – This incredible immersive exhibit will take you across the globe to look at some of the most beautiful rainforests in the world. Captivating and interesting, the exhibit aims to educate and impress the importance of rainforest conservation to our planet. 

Other Activities Across the GTA

Mount Chinguacousy – Weather permitting, Mount Chinguacousy in Brampton offers a variety of activities including skiing, snowboarding, and tubing! They offer rentals and lessons as well! Keep an eye on the weather before heading out! 

Dinosaur Drive-Thru – Explore Canada’s Dinosaur Park from the comfort of your car at the Dinosaur Drive-Thru! This year the park is bigger and better than ever with over 50 dinosaurs of “Jurassic Size” if you have a Dino-Fan in your family, this is a must-see running from March 11 – April 3.
